Frequently Asked Questions
Ovoform Sign collects electronic signatures under the U.S. ESIGN Act and UETA, and simple electronic signatures under eIDAS in the EU and UK. Each signer agrees to sign electronically first, and the signed PDF carries a certificate of completion with the audit trail. Some documents, such as wills or anything that must be notarised, cannot be signed electronically.
It drafts one from your description, with placeholders for anything you did not specify. It is not legal advice: read the draft, and have it reviewed where the stakes justify it, before you send it.
No. Sending needs a separate permission you approve when connecting, the exact list of signers, and an explicit confirmation in the conversation. Documents can never be cancelled or deleted through ChatGPT; that stays in the Ovoform app.
No. They get an email with a personal link and sign in their browser. The link is theirs alone; reminders send a fresh link and the old one stops working.
In private storage that is only reachable through Ovoform after a permission check. Signed PDFs are never at a public address. Workspaces in HIPAA mode cannot use e-signatures yet.
It depends on your Ovoform plan, counted per calendar month when a document is sent. Drafts do not count. The Free plan includes a few documents a month so you can try it.
