  1. Enable developer mode

    In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Security and login, and enable Developer mode. Access depends on your account and workspace settings.

  2. Add the Ovoform MCP server

    Create a custom MCP connection in ChatGPT. Name it Ovoform and use https://mcp.ovoform.com/mcp as the server URL. Select OAuth and create the connection.

  3. Sign in and start a chat

    Sign in to Ovoform and review the permissions before approving access. Start a new chat, select Ovoform from the tools menu, and describe your form.

Can I connect Ovoform to ChatGPT today?

Yes. The Ovoform MCP connection is available now. Add the Ovoform MCP server manually using developer mode in ChatGPT, then sign in and approve access.

Which ChatGPT plan do I need?

You need access to developer mode in ChatGPT. Availability depends on your account and workspace policy; an administrator may need to enable it. See the linked OpenAI setup guide for current requirements. Any Ovoform plan can connect; building forms uses your Ovoform AI allowance.

Do I need an API key?

No. The connection uses OAuth. Sign in to Ovoform in your browser and approve access. ChatGPT does not receive your Ovoform password, and you do not need to copy an API key.

Does it work with Claude too?

Yes. The same Ovoform MCP server works with Claude. Ovoform is also listed in the Claude connector directory; see the Ovoform for Claude page for its setup instructions.

Can ChatGPT delete my forms or change billing?

The connector does not allow deleting forms, contacts or tags. Taking a form offline requires confirmation. Billing, account settings, API keys and team management are outside its permissions.

How is respondent data handled?

Contact details and sensitive response fields are hidden by default unless you explicitly request them. Workspaces in HIPAA mode do not return responses through the connector. Response content is marked as untrusted data for the assistant to analyse.

How do I disconnect Ovoform?

Open the Ovoform connection in ChatGPT and disconnect it. To connect again, sign in to Ovoform and approve access.
