Ovoform for Claude
Build forms in Claude, and find out what the answers mean
Add Ovoform as a Claude connector and describe the form you want — questions, branching logic, scoring and theme come back published, with a link to share. The part that keeps people coming back is the other direction: ask Claude to read the responses and tell you what they actually say.
No API key. You sign in to Ovoform in your browser and approve the connection once.

Connect it to Claude
Takes about a minute. Custom connectors require a paid Claude plan.
- Open Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector.
- Name it

https://mcp.ovoform.com/mcp. - Leave the client ID and secret empty, and accept the detected authentication settings.
- Choose Connect, sign in to Ovoform, and approve the permissions it asks for.
- Enable the connector inside a conversation or a Project, then ask for a form.
Added to your account rather than one device, so it works on claude.ai and in the desktop app. Using ChatGPT as well? The same connector works there.
How people actually use it
Research, then build
Claude can reason about what to ask before it asks it. Paste a research brief or a messy list of questions and have it work out the right question types, ordering and branching, then publish the form and hand you the link.
Interpret results, not just fetch them
Reading responses is where the longer context helps. Ask what the free-text answers have in common, which segment drops off, or whether a change you made last week actually improved completion.
Keep it in a Project
Add the connector to a Claude Project alongside your brief, tone-of-voice notes or past surveys, and every form it builds inherits that context without you restating it.
Close the loop
Route new responses to email, Slack, a webhook or Zapier, optionally only when a condition matches — described in a sentence rather than configured in a dashboard.
What you are approving
The connector asks to read and write your forms, read their responses, manage automations and manage contacts — and nothing else. Billing, account settings, API keys and team management are refused by the Ovoform API itself, not merely left out of the connector, so a prompt cannot reach them however it is worded.
Nothing can be deleted through it, and taking a form offline asks for confirmation first. Because Claude will be reading text that strangers submitted, those answers are treated as data rather than as instructions — a respondent cannot leave a message in a form field and have Claude act on it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Adding a custom connector requires a paid Claude plan. On the Ovoform side any plan can connect — building forms uses AI, and the Free plan has a small daily AI allowance, so heavy use needs a paid Ovoform plan. Reading forms, responses and insights is unaffected.
Yes. The connector is added to your account rather than to one device, so once it is set up it is available in both, and inside Claude Projects.
No. You sign in to Ovoform in your browser and approve the connection once. Claude never sees your password, and there is no key to copy or store.
Yes. It is a standard MCP connector, so the same server URL works in ChatGPT and in other assistants that support MCP. The ChatGPT setup steps are on their own page.
No. Deleting is not available through the connector at all — not forms, not contacts, not tags. Those are refused by the Ovoform API itself, so no wording in a prompt can talk it into them. Taking a form offline is possible but asks for confirmation first.
Emails, phone numbers, addresses, files and signatures are hidden unless you explicitly ask for them, and the same applies to your contact list. Workspaces in HIPAA mode do not return responses through the connector at all. Answers people submit are treated as data, never as instructions to follow.
Remove the connector in Claude, which revokes its access immediately. Access also expires on its own after 55 minutes if it is not refreshed.
