No API key. You sign in to Ovoform in your browser and approve the connection once.

Connect it to ChatGPT
Takes about a minute. Custom connectors require a paid ChatGPT plan.
- Open Settings, then Connectors.
- Add a custom connector and name it
Ovoform. - Enter the server URL
https://mcp.ovoform.com/mcp. - Leave the client ID and secret empty, and accept the detected authentication settings.
- Choose Connect, sign in to Ovoform, and approve the permissions it asks for.
- Enable the connector in a conversation, then describe the form you want.

What it can do
Create forms from a description
Say what you need in a sentence. You get a working form with the right question types, branching logic, scoring and a theme already applied — published, with a link you can share immediately.
Refine it by talking
Add a question, reorder them, change the wording, swap the theme, make a field optional. Edits to a form that is already live take effect straight away.
Read your responses
Ask what people said, filter by date, or pull out a specific answer. Email addresses and other contact details stay masked unless you ask for them.
Understand performance
Completion rate, time to complete, exactly which question people abandon, and score distribution for quizzes — answered in the chat rather than a dashboard.
Route responses automatically
Send new submissions to email, Slack, a webhook or Zapier, optionally only when a condition matches — set up by asking for it.
Manage contacts
Browse who is on your contact list, add someone, and apply tags. Contacts can never be deleted through the connector.

What you are approving
The connector asks to read and write your forms, read their responses, manage automations and manage contacts — and nothing else. Billing, account settings, API keys and team management are refused by the Ovoform API itself, not merely left out of the connector, so a prompt cannot reach them however it is worded.
Nothing can be deleted through it. Taking a form offline asks for confirmation first. Contact details in responses are masked unless you ask for them. In short, it can do what you could do in the dashboard, minus anything you cannot undo.

Frequently Asked Questions
No. You sign in to Ovoform in your browser and approve the connection once. ChatGPT never sees your password, and there is no key to copy or store.
Connecting a custom connector requires a paid ChatGPT plan. On the Ovoform side any plan can connect — building forms uses AI, and the Free plan has a small daily AI allowance, so heavy use needs a paid Ovoform plan. Reading forms, responses and insights is unaffected.
Yes. The same connector works in Claude, and in any other assistant that supports MCP connectors. See the Claude setup guide for those steps.
No. Deleting is not available through the connector at all — not forms, not contacts, not tags. Those are refused by the Ovoform API itself, so no wording in a prompt can talk it into them. Taking a form offline is possible but asks for confirmation first.
No. The connection is limited to forms, responses, automations and contacts. Billing, account settings, API keys and team management are all refused, and it can only reach workspaces you are a member of.
Emails, phone numbers, addresses, files and signatures are hidden unless you explicitly ask for them. The same applies to your contact list. Workspaces in HIPAA mode do not return responses through the connector at all.
Remove the connector in ChatGPT, which revokes its access immediately. Access also expires on its own after 55 minutes if it is not refreshed.
